A timed 3.5 mile adventure Run/Walk route through Mahoney State Park, Road cycle routes of 25, 35, 45, and 55 miles, and Gravel cycle routes of 27 and 55 miles.

Lincoln Parks Foundation, in coordination with Pioneers Park Nature Center and Spring Creek Prairie, is proud to present the 1st annual “Prairie to Prairie” – a Run, Bike, Run event (a non timed event) that will highlight the beauty of our Natural Prairies and the future route of the Prairie Corridor.
This is a Run-Bike-Run event that can be done as an individual or a 2 person team. With the 2 person team – there will be a runner and a biker with the runner running a 5k at Pioneer Park, handing off to the biker who will bike gravel roads 15 miles to Spring Creek Prairie and then a final 5k at Spring Creek Prairie for the runner. The individual will complete all 3 events on
their own.
The runner will be in charge of getting themselves from Pioneers Park to Spring Creek Prairie via their own car for transportation.
Other info : Prairie to Prairie will adhere to any LLCHD directives at the time of the event and will keep all participants informed of those directives.
No race day sign up.
Start time for the event is 8:30 am – with all bikers being off the gravel by 11:00am.

The 6th Greater Omaha Chapter (GOC) of AFCEA Steps for STEM 5K Run/Walk is designed to be an uplifting, family-oriented, community event, benefitting the GOC’s STEM Scholarship and Grant Fund. Our chapter has about 250 members and our focus extends from Eastern Nebraska to Western Iowa.
Join us, participants and spectators alike, on this promising May morning to take part in this run/walk! All events will take place at scenic Walnut Creek Park in Papillion Nebraska with both the start and finish lines just off the circle on Gold Coast Road.
All runners/walkers will receive a medal. M2ti is partnering with Greater Omaha Chapter to provide awards for top finishers. Top 3 – 5K runners – (Male and Female categories) 1st – $500, 2nd – $250, and 3rd – $100. Awards will be presented at the culmination of the run near the starting point on Gold Coast Road.
