- All 3 events will start and finish in Haworth Park. The course will use parts of American Heroes Park, Old Towne Bellevue, and the Keystone trail.

Please join us for the Greater Omaha Chapter’s (GOC) 9th 5K Run/Walk to bolster our scholarship & grants program and promote health, wellness and camaraderie by having a friendly competition among chapter members, chapter supporters, and anyone else who is interested. That’s right, being a member of AFCEA is not a prerequisite for participating, so feel free to bring your friends along!!
The GOC is anticipating a good turnout for this year’s event. Runners will be officially timed by Precision Race Results. Runners and followers will be able to review results online as soon as they are posted. Runners will also receive a result email the afternoon of the race. All ages and athletic abilities are welcome, so please join us on 24 May!
The event will occur at Papillion’s Walnut Creek running trail. It may provide some challenges since it’s not a flat track, but the view around the track will be scenic.

Event Details and Schedule
– The event will be held rain or shine and no refunds of entry will be given.
– Runners and walkers will receive a race day T-shirt and race bib to wear while running or walking the track. All participants receive a medal at the finish line!
– Race day is Saturday, 24 May 25. Participants should arrive by 8:30am, 8:45am at the latest to check-in.
– The race will begin at 9:00am at the Gold Coast Road entrance to Walnut Creek.
– There will be FREE parking for all participants.
– No bicycles, skates, or skateboards are allowed.
– Shirts are not guaranteed for participants who register after Friday, May 9th. There are no refunds of entry given or transfers of entry permitted for this event.
– Greater Omaha Chapter of AFCEA is an IRS 501 (c)(3) recognized charitable organization. All donations for the scholarship and grants program are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
