THANKSGIVING FUN RUN

In light of the escalating COVID-19 cases and the pressure being placed on medical professionals and facilities, we will not hold an in-person Thanksgiving fun run on November 26. However, we encourage individuals and family groups to walk or run on their own to express gratitude for all the good things present in their lives, and work up an appetite for feasting later that day. It will be a great opportunity to display an attitude of gratitude on this important holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Date: Cancelled
Location:
Lake Zorinsky Boat Ramp
156th & F Street

HOLIDAY LIGHTS FUN RUN

Date: Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, at 6 p.m.

The Holiday Lights Fun Run is always a delight for the Omaha Running Club to present to the Omaha running community.  Not only do we enjoy planning the event, we look forward to welcoming participants in such a wonderful social activity and setting the stage for the upcoming Holiday season.  But with the continuing surge in COVID-19 cases and official appeals for caution and curtailment in social functions, in the interest of public safety we regretfully have reached the decision not to hold the fun run this year.  We sincerely wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas and encourage you to get outdoors and enjoy the nice days while they last.
