Westview High School is hosting a 5k and 10k run and walk on Sunday, April 30th at 9:00am at Lake Flanagan in Omaha, NE

Each registrant will gain a swag bag containing a race shirt, seed packets, and a tree sapling provided by the Papio-Missouri Natural Resources District and the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum. Winners of the race will earn the opportunity to plant a celebratory tree at Westview High School. Square Donut will be providing tasty donuts for participants!

Westview High School students will collaborate with the University of Nebraska Omaha College of Sports Medicine and Biomechanics and Makovicka Physical Therapy to lead stretching sessions and collect activity and heart rate data from willing participants. Come prepared for both an educational and fun race event!
