13^th Annual Healthy Hearts Run (or walk) is happening Saturday February 11, 2023. Join us to run or walk 1 mile or 5k on the fast, flat, out and back crushed limestone Homestead trail by the American Legion 701 Dorsey in Beatrice. Races start at 11:00 AM. Early registration until 2/3/2023 to be guaranteed a shirt or hat $20 1 mile, $30 5k; 5k couple division $60. Race day registrations accepted but race shirt or hat not guaranteed day of the race. Entry fee includes popular Long sleeve soft blend shirt OR beanie stocking hat, post race pizza & treats. Awards in youth for 1 mile, 5k for Male/Female age groups, separate 5k Couples Division. Proceeds this year go to the Quilts of Valor for Veterans made by Freedom Quilters of Nebraska . Participants are encouraged to wear red and this is a dog-friendly (must be leashed) event as well!
