Grab your sneakers and your friends and join the Midlands Humane Society as we raise funds to benefit homeless animals in Council Bluffs and Pottawattamie County, Iowa during our Inaugural Halloween Howl event.

We have created a 5K Fun Run/Walk and a 1.5 Mile Walk using the trails along Valley View Drive, College Road and Railroad Avenue.  The event begins at New Horizon Presbyterian Church, 30 Valley View Drive, Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Pre-registrations are encouraged and can be made on our website or in person at our location, 1020 Railroad Avenue during business house (M-F 12-6 and Sat. 11-5).  Cost is $20 and includes a t-shirt if registered by October 15.  From October 16-27, cost is $25 with no guarantee of a shirt.  Registrations will also be taken on the day of event, starting at 8am.  There will be indoor restrooms available before and after the race and light refreshments available post event.  Family friendly!  Dogs on leashes are welcome.  Children under age 5 are permitted with no fee but will not receive medals or shirts.  Medals will be distributed to the top 3 qualifiers in each age category.  Feel free to dress up you, your kids, and/or your dog for Halloween and have a blast!!
