Connor’s Crew Kicks Cancer

Connor’s Story:

Connor was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in June 2016, 3 days before his 9th birthday. Thankfully,  after 30 days of intense treatment he was in remission. He still has another year and a half of treatment before he will be considered cured. Through this experience his family learned that only 2% of donations for cancer research goes toward childhood cancer. They were disappointed with this statistic and decided to do something about it! Hence, Connor’s Crew Kicks Cancer 5k walk/run fundraiser was established. All funds raised go towards childhood cancer research at the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.
