Beer and Bagel Nebraska

The Beer & Bagel Run is a tradition going back more than 30 years in Nebraska. So, most runners in the area know the drill. If this is your first time, there are two separate events. A 12-mile(ish) race (3 loops) that starts at 8:00 am and a 4-mile(ish) race (1 loop) that starts at 9:00 am. The goal is for both events to finish at near the same time. For 2026, there will be NO SQUATCHY event. Both events will utilize the same location, same grassy areas and trails. The post-race party for both events includes all your beer and bagels along with music, games and awards.

Let’s be honest for a minute. You really only do the race for three things: the course, the free food & drink, and a good race shirt. Ours is a high-quality, long-sleeve tech shirt with the race logo printed on front and “I’m a Drinker with a Running Problem!” printed across the back. We also offer a non-drinker version for the shirt: “I’m a Root Beer Drinker with a Running Problem!” All shirts are unisex style and available XS to XXL. If you register within two weeks of the race date, your shirt may not be available in the requested size subject to availability at check in.
