43rd Annual Creighton University School of Medicine Walk for Wishes

Join us for the 43rd Annual Creighton University School of Medicine Make-A-Wish 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Chalco Hills Recreation Area at Wehrspann Lake.

Check-in begins at 8:00 AM outside the Chalco Hills Recreation Building, and the 5K starts at 9:00 AM.

Registration includes a 2026 race shirt, refreshments, and snacks. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to run or walk. One hundred percent of event proceeds support Make-A-Wish Nebraska and its work granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

General registration is $30 through August 1 and $35 afterward. Student registration is $25. Children age five and younger are free.
