FAQ
Do you have questions? We've got answers! If something isn't addressed in the below FAQ please reach out to us with your question or concern!
Q: What if I can't make one of the series races?
A: We want everyone to complete the race series, but we understand things come up! You can make up a race(s) to complete your medal - we require you to submit the results via a Strava activity link (Strava is a free application) with your information OR provide the GPX file of your event to us via our contact email. Be sure to indicate which race the activity is for (title it appropriately, or add the details in your mail message).
The activity should be as close to the missed event as possible(ideally you run the lake that you couldn't make!).
Q: I submitted my missed race info, where and when can I get my medal?
A: We'll have the medals with us at each event's packet pickup and at race morning. We'll also have all awards at the finale party!
Q: Will each race happen regardless of weather conditions? Or other factors?
A: We will run rain or shine - but safety is our main concern. We will send out information prior to race day if there are any emergency or last-minute changes.
Q: How will you determine series winners?
A: Overall winners will be determined by the average of the four best performance factors from in person completion of the five races (we throw out your slowest race).
In the instance of ties the individual with the highest performance factor will be the winner. Virtual submissions are not eligible for series awards.
Participants must complete 4 races in person to be eligible for the overall awards.
