
Who will become the Lord of the Lakes?
We're on the search for the Lord and Lady of the Lakes - quite possibly the greatest title one could achieve in the city of Omaha!
Join your friends and fellow runners on a epic 5-race series across the iconic lakes of Omaha, Nebraska. Each race will feature one of Omaha's great lake parks with a unique course and distance - paired with legendary race swag and a finale feast for the ages - this is a event you won't want to miss!

RACE 1
LAKE FLANAGAN
May 11th 2025 - 8:00 am
The series begins!
- Lake Flanagan is a 5 mile course.

LAKE STANDING BEAR
June 1st 2025 - 8am
A fast and flat course to continue the series!
- Lake Standing Bear is a 3.1 mile (5k) course.

RACE 3
LAKE ZORINSKY
July 13th 2025 - 8am
A epic journey around the Z.
- Lake Zorinsky is a 7.8 mile (12k) course.

RACE 4
LAKE WEHRSPANN
August 3rd 2025 - 7:30am
A classic 10k around Chalco Hills
- Lake Wehrspann is a 6.2 mile (10k) course.
- Start and finish line at the main lodge. See it on the map.
- Entry in Lord of the Lakes counts as entry to Lake Wehrspann 10k & 2mile!

RACE 5
LAKE CUNNINGHAM
September 7th 2025 - 8:00am
Series finale!
- Lake Cunningham is a 6.2 mile (10k) course.
- Start and finish line at the boat dock area. See it on the map.
- Cap off the series with a finale feast for the ages - a post-race party featuring a hog roast, music, and crowning the series champions as Lord and Lady of the Lakes!

Q: What if I can't make one of the series races?
A: Things come up - we get it! If you are a series registrant and can't make one of the races, contact us using the links in the "Contact" section below and we will work with you to make-up your Lord of the Lakes journey!
Q: Will each race happen regardless of weather conditions? Or other factors?
A: We will run rain or shine - but safety is our main concern. We will send out information prior to race day if there are any emergency or last-minute changes.
Q: How will you determine series winners?
A: Series winners will be determined based of the best age-graded times of your top 4 (out of the 5) races!
