This 5k fun run and 1 mile walk take place during Springfield’s annual Springfield Days. The event features medals for finishers, t-shirts for participants (with advance registration), and an opportunity to raise funds for the Springfield Food Pantry. Springfield area churches put on the event, which is why it is called the “Steeplechase”.
