About the event

The Skyline Ranches Cross Country Run is a cross-country run/walk on the beautiful, private horse trails of the Skyline Ranches neighborhood just south of Elkhorn NE. This run has had many changes over the years, but some things have stayed the same… including – the course always getting harder, the original mission to raise money and awareness for the Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy (HETRA) – www.hetra.org and St. Augustine Kids program – www.sainta.net.

Since 2012 there have been 1000 participants who have helped raise over $20,000 for the two organizations.

Description

The 8th annual Skyline Ranches Cross Country Run is a G.O.A.Tz run!

Featuring individual 5k/10k,1/2 Marathon, and team 5k/10k, and 1/2 Marathon.

There are also kids distances of .3 miles and .6 miles and a one mile that the entire family can walk or run.

Date: Saturday Sept. 14th, 2019

Location: Skyline Ranches Park – Omaha, NE

Start Times: 8:15am – 1/2 Marathon & 10k, 8:25am – 5k, 10:30 Kids Run and Walk

Registration Opens Saturday April 1st (12:00am)

Registration Closes Wednesday Sept 11th, (12:00am) and only reopen at piacket pickup and the day of run if there is room.

The 5k/10k are single loops and the 1/2 marathon is 2 loops over wide well maintained cross country trail. The kids runs and walk are around a beautiful pond in a beautiful private park!
