Come run a personal best like your life depends on it, along the moonlit trails of Standing Bear Lake. See your breath hit the air as your pulse quickens and your heart pounds in fear of all things that go bump in the night!! Entry fee includes registration for The Bones Run, a fabulous t-shirt, refreshments at the finish and glow necklaces.

The Bones Run 5K is a night-time themed run hosted by the Omaha Running Club on the South Side of Standing Bear Lake (Fort Street Entrance). It is our goal to provide a safe, fun and possibly scary event for the community. The course will be an out and back “dark” course, with a water stop along the course. We do encourage headlights for the run, and creepy, scary costumes are encouraged. The minimum age for this run will be 18 years old. A night race and terrain are not suitable for minors, wheelchairs or pets. Packet Pickup and Late Registration will be on race day only from 5:30pm-6:30pm at Standing Bear Lake – South Side Entrance on 138th & Fort Street.

Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be able to have an after-party or awards ceremony this year.  Awards will be available at Peak Performance starting Monday, November 2.
