Join us for FreedomFest III, presented by Miles for Heroes, on Saturday, May 25th in historic downtown Scribner.

Miles for Heroes gives everyone in the community the chance to participate alongside fellow runners, veterans and active duty servicemen and women through a 5k fun run or walk.

Each runner gets a race tee (guaranteed if registered by May 13), a M4H wristband, post-race food and drink, a super fun time honoring those that serve and have served and eligibility for awards! While race day registration is accepted, we encourage you to sign up early to guarantee your entry and swag. We timed this race last year and it was one of the best ones we’ve been a part of so far – you don’t want to miss this!

Following the race, you can stick around to participate in the Poker Run, and come back at 7 pm for a concert featuring the Dylan Bloom Band and Shenandoah, and party while we rock the streets of downtown Scribner (concert tickets not included in registration).

All proceeds will support Miles for Heroes, a Nebraska nonprofit organization aimed to help Veterans combat PTSD and find a passion in the outdoors.

Check in and same day registration will take place from 6:30-7:45 a.m. on race day.  This is a RAIN OR SHINE event.  Please be conscious of the weather and dress appropriately.  No refunds will be offered for lack of participation due to inclement weather. Children and families are encouraged to participate!
