Online registration for the Mega Medal Challenge is closed as we review COVID-19 recommendations. The status of the Mega Medal Challenge will be updated after review with the Douglas County Health Department and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. The current situation and recommendations indicate that the event should be cancelled this year.

A brand-new race is coming to Omaha’s Lake Zorinsky on Sunday, May 31! Omaha Running Club is proud to present the Mega Medal Challenge, an event that will challenge and reward you as never before.
The Challenge: One day, three races. A 10K starting at 7:30 AM, a 5K starting at 9:00 AM and a 1-mile starting at 10:00 AM. You must run all three races to meet the challenge.
Finisher medals will be awarded for each race. Results will be posted for each race, and the grand total of times for all three races will be cumulated for a fourth set of finisher results. Age group awards will be based on the total time of all three events. The three finisher medals will each feature a portion of Lake Z and will combine to create a memorable reminder of your accomplishment.
