Join Omaha Running Club for its signature event, The Heartland Marathon. Remember, it is an event put on by runners, for runners, and for the benefit of the local running community and runners everywhere.

We are moving forward with the plan to hold the Heartland Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half Marathon, and 10K on September 27.  Details for race weekend such as courses will be disclosed later on the Heartland website. We are reopening registration and will maintain spring pricing for all events until July 15.  Prices are currently expected to increase beyond that point.  In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, if, by July 15, it becomes apparent due to a significant increase in coronavirus infections, because government and/or health officials deem it necessary to impose restrictions, or because of a lack of volunteers or other resources that make it impossible to responsibly hold a race, we will refund entry fees paid prior to July 15.  Processing fees will not be refunded.  If we are still able to move forward on July 15, there will be no refunds, as we will begin ordering and paying for items for the race.

We will continue to carefully monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and do everything possible to ensure our events are held in a safe manner.  We will follow all national, state, and local government and health department guidelines, so that runners, volunteers, vendors, spectators and others can participate with a feeling of confidence.

Packet pickup is Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Courtyard by Marriott Omaha Downtown/Old Market, 101 S 10th St, Omaha, NE 68102

Parking, Race Course, Gear Check

Access to parking and the race course is from Abbott Drive, as River Front Drive is closed from the south.  Parking will be available in designated lots at River City Star, 151 Freedom Park Road, Omaha, NE, and on the Gallup Riverfront Campus, 1001 Gallup Drive, Omaha, NE, both of which are close to the start/finish area.  Please look for signs identifying the designated parking areas.

Due to COVID-19 safety considerations and the proximity of the parking, there will NOT be a gear check area.
