The Happy Camper Run is an annual benefit event supporting summer camps and mentoring for Omaha area foster kids and teens.  We raise money at the run so that foster kids can attend Royal Family Kids Camp (RFKC) and Teen Reach Adventure Camp (TRAC) free of charge.  These camps offer a fun and positive environment that is uniquely tailored to the needs of these special kids that come from hard places.  These children come from very difficult situations and the camps offer an opportunity, if only for a few days, to leave those troubles behind and just be a kid. 

The Happy Camper Run was started in 2012 and averages a few hundred participants each year. There is a timed 5K race and as well as a 1 mile fun run/walk for kids and families with camp-style fun along the course.
