Come run with us as we celebrate the 149th Annual Arbor Day Celebration the best way we know how – with an awesome 5k or 10k!
The Arbor Day 5k & 10k will take you through some of the prettiest scenery in Eastern Nebraska, leading you over gravel, paved and brick roads through Steinhart Park, around the grounds of the Arbor Lodge and through Arbor Lodge State Historical Park.
The run caters to runners of all ages and abilities, even welcoming dogs and runners with strollers!
Each participant will receive a finisher’s medal, a race t-shirt, chip-timed results, on-course and finish line photography and be eligible for awards. Even better, the first 100 to register will receive a pair of Arbor Day socks!
After the race, stick around for the Arbor Day Festival, featuring BBQ and wine tasting, a flea market, trolley tours, the Arbor Day parade and much more! Details on the festival can be found at http://gonebraskacity.com/festival/arbor-day/.
All registrations are final and the race will be held rain or shine, unless it is determined by the Race Organizers that it is unsafe or logistically impractical to hold the event. All proceeds will be given to the Nebraska City Tourism Commission and there will be no refunds.
