Event Details

The John C. Fremont Days Ridge Road Run & Corporate Challenge enters its 33rd year in 2020!

We host a 2 mile and 5 mile road race on a pancake flat course, starting at Christensen Field in Fremont. This is a chip-timed event that is open to all ages and abilities put on by runners, for runners.

We offer t-shirts for all participants (sizes not guaranteed for those who register after 6/26), medals to the top 2 male/female finishers in each age group for each distance, as well as the top 2 male/female overall finishers. We also offer both on-course and finish line photography and a ton of post-race food and drink!

Come for the race, stay for the $5 brunch buffet at Bella’s Broad Street Diner afterwards (just show your race bib), and check out the John C. Fremont Days’ festivities all throughout Fremont!

For the 4th consecutive year, we’re also hosting the Corporate Challenge. This is specifically for any business/organization to compete for the John C. Fremont Cup – a 2 foot tall trophy with the winning business/organization’s name engraved on the side! To be eligible, a company must have a minimum of 3 finishers in the 5 mile race, with at least 1 female finisher. The top 3 finishers (including 1 female) will be scored based on their averaging finishing times. The fastest average finish time gets the Cup! If you’re interested in participating in the Corporate Challenge, please email ridgeroadrun@gmail.com for more details.

We can’t wait to run with you on July 11th!

All registrations are final and the race will be held rain or shine, unless it is determined by the Race Organizers that it is unsafe or logistically impractical to hold the event. All proceeds will benefit the John C. Fremont Days Foundation and there will be no refunds.
