Want a fun time with a country atmosphere? Well then this Run is for you! 1 or 4 mile. Both IN-PERSON or VIRTUAL available! The 14th Annual BEE BUZZ RUN will take place on Sunday, April 21st, 2024 in Bee, Nebraska. (9 miles north of Seward, Nebraska; or 25 miles from Lincoln). All proceeds benefit the continued restoration of the Historic States Ballroom in Bee, Nebraska
IN-PERSON RUN…1 mile or 4 mile fun run or walk. 1 mile starts at 8:05am. 4 mile starts at 8:30am. Comfortable courses. Entry Fee: $20 (17 yrs. old and younger. $25 (18 yrs. and over). Race Day Entries will be NOT accepted! Medals awarded in age groups. Costumes welcome. Fun guaranteed. A great BUFFET BREAKFAST served in conjunction with this run! Serving from 8AM to 1PM.
VIRTUAL RUN…Run or walk your 1 or 4 miles between April 21st thru April 28th, 2024 anytime/any place. Enter your time for a runner’s certificate at a site that will be sent to you. Entry Fee: $25 (17 yrs. old and younger). $30 (18 yrs old and over)
Deadline entry…Thursday, April 11th, 2024 to receive a shirt

Gear up for fun at the Blazing Trails for Brain Injury 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk/Roll presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska and the Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska! It’s your chance to break a sweat, make memories, and make a difference—all in one family-friendly event. No matter your pace or ability, you’re invited to join us as we pave the way toward a brighter future for those affected by brain injury in Nebraska.
Join us on Saturday, June 8 from 8:30 a.m. to Noon at Chalco Hills Recreation Area (8901 S 154th St., Omaha, NE 68138). Everyone is welcome to participate, no matter your age, ability, or fitness level.
Registration costs:
Online: $40/person or $35/person when registering 3 or more people at a time.
Youth (under age 13): $10/child
In-person (Day of the event): $50
All proceeds and donations go towards building awareness and providing resources for brain injury in Nebraska. At the Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska (BIA-NE), we work to promote system change for brain injury by building community support networks that help individuals and families across the state navigate life changes resulting from a brain injury.

The Lincoln Mile is a morning of age group heats that are run every 15 minutes, beginning at 8:00am.
Oldest age group first, with the Elite Heats running when all other heats are finished.
Come early – stay late and then you can cheer – run – cheer!
The Lincoln Mile is again the RRCA Central Region Championship Race for 1 Mile.
You are going to fall in love with our fun, fast and scenic course!
We’re going to take you past some amazing things, all in one mile!
You’ll run past “Bert & Ernie”, Standing Bear, Fountains, Tall Grasses, a Federal Building, and back past those same things!

The start of the 2024 Lincoln Running Co Mile is where it has always been, but changes quickly!
We will head north on 12th St then take a right at R St. We will head down R St to Centennial Mall and run south on the west side of Centennial Mall to O St. At O St we will take a left to the east side of Centennial Mall and then another left and head back to R St up the east side of Centennial Mall. At R St we take another left and head to 12th St and a left on 12th St takes us to the finish!
As a runner, we think you are going to love this flat scenic course, as a spectator we KNOW you are going to love being able to catch your runner coming and going on Centennial Mall!
