The 48th Annual Lincoln Marathon

Join us May 4, 2025, for a great running experience through the streets of Lincoln, Nebraska.  Our event offers something for runners of all ages and abilities, from elite runners to everyday athletes looking to accomplish a fitness goal.

Brookings, South Dakota, hosts the 25th oldest marathon in the US, 3rd oldest among those run every year since inception. Though the race has evolved since 1970, the course still includes historic neighborhoods, beautiful parks, bike paths, and tree-lined streets. ​Along the way, runners are supported by hundreds of wonderful volunteers, and opportunities abound for family and friends to cheer. 

The annual Papillion Half Marathon will begin at 7:30am with the 10K and 5K to begin shortly after. Start and Finish will be inside The Papillion Landing Field House

Join us on Saturday, May 24, 2025 in Bellevue, Nebraska for the second annual American Heroes run.

Registration Includes:

Professional timing, race shirt, custom finisher medal, snacks, age group awards, top finisher awards, and a new and improved race course.

Shirts and sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after May 1st

Race Day Info

• Half Marathon Start Time: 7:00 AM
• 10K / 5K Start Time: 7:15AM
• Start/Finish Location: Haworth Park – 2502 Payne Dr, Bellevue, NE 68005
• Arrival: Please be at the starting line at least 10 minutes before your start time
• Parking: There will be limited parking at Haworth Park. Overflow parking will be at American Heroes Park, North of Mission Ave.

Course Overview

• All 3 events will start and finish in Haworth Park. The course will use parts of American Heroes Park, Old Towne Bellevue, and the Keystone trail.
• The terrain will be a mix of city streets, paved trail and dirt roads.
• Aid Stations: approximately every 2 miles.
• Time Limit: 4 Hours (11:00 AM cutoff)

Please join us for the inaugural running of the Valentine Marathon. The race has a distance for everybody, from a 50K Ultra to the full, half, 10K, 5K, and 1M, benefitting the Valentine Community Schools Foundation and Rails to Trails.
