Event Type : Fun Run

The At Ease USA Forge Ahead 5k is making its return and doing so during PTSD Awareness month in June.  This event is an opportunity for families and individuals to raise awareness of the challenges surrounding those suffering from PTSD as well as the services provided by AEU.  The race builds community and let’s those suffering know they are not alone.

Registration begins at 8:00 am.  Race begins at 9:00 am.  Bring the entire family!  Proceeds support the work of At Ease USA.

The Blade 5K run/1 mile walk is set on the beautiful College of Saint Mary campus in Omaha. The 5K run is an out and back course that will start on campus and also include a section of the Keystone Trail. The 1 mile walk is also an out and back course, and will wind through the CSM campus.  Both options are relatively flat courses.  We will also be having kids fun runs on CSM’s brand new state of the art 200 meter indoor track.  The Blade 5K is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The Blade 5K’s goal each year is to raise funds and award a new recipient(s) a professionally fitted prosthetic or other necessities in order to begin or return to an active lifestyle.

RUN-To-READ 5K & 1K fun run supports Missouri River Literary Festival while promoting reading, health and fitness from the young to the elder. The activities for this day are for individuals, families, clubs, social groups, etc. From literacy to reading to the literary arts, families and communities can get involved and get fit in the process!!!
