Join us for a 5-race series or run individual races that will challenge you to conquer Lakes Standing Bear, Cunningham, Flanagan, Walnut Creek and Wehrspann. Sign up for the series for $125 or individual races for $35 each. Series finishers will receive a special medal commemorating their accomplishment. Series races will be held on April 26, May 24, June 21, Jul7 12 and August 2.
Race distances vary by lake and are as follows:

The 10th Greater Omaha Chapter (GOC) of AFCEA Steps for STEM 5K is designed to be an uplifting, family-oriented, community event, benefiting the GOC’s STEM Scholarship and Grant Funds. Our chapter has about 250 members and serves the Greater Omaha Metropolitan Area to include Offutt Air Force Base and part of Western Iowa. This race will be timed by Precision Race Results. Join us, participants and spectators alike, on this promising May morning to take part in this run/walk! All events will take place at scenic Walnut Creek Park in Papillion Nebraska with both the start and finish lines just off the circle on Gold Coast Road.
This will be the 10th anniversary of our Steps for STEM 5K. This is a special event for us. Please come out in force to participate. The first 100 to check-in starting at 0730 will receive custom “Steps for STEM 5K” water bottles, so please plan to check in early!
