Come join us for this exciting and fun 2-person Team and Individual event that will take place just North of Ashland Nebraska at the Memphis State Recreational Area On Saturday, June 4, 2022 starting at 7am.
The Double Down Race is an exciting new two person team event with a 3hr, 6hr or 12hr option. You and your teammate will be trying to accumulate the most team miles in order to bring home the Double Down Championship. Team Divisions consist of Male/Male , Female/Female, Male/Female. Each team recieves a medal as long as they reach the combine 20mile team mark. Run it, Hike it, Walk it makes no difference on how you get it done.
The ALone Ranger Race is the perfect choice for those that want to run or walk individually especially If you have a distance goal you’ve set for yourself and always wanted to acheive. You will have a choice of a 5mile, 3hr, 6hr or 12hr race. First place bundles are up for grabs in this one also with a Male and Female winner. Each hourly event participant will recieve a medal as long as they reach the 10mile mark. With the Lake and countryside views this race is sure to be a quick favorite to many! The field will be limited to just 100 runners. No matter how you slice it these races have something for every type of runner. The field will be limited so register today because you won’t want to miss this one!
**A portion of each entry fee will also be donated to Ashland/Greenwood Athletics, Cross Country and Track and Field teams**

The Lincoln Track Club, in coordination with the Lincoln Running Company, is proud to present the 46th annual Buffalo Run, set for Sunday, Sept. 18th, at Lincoln’s beautiful Pioneers Park.
This year the Buffalo Run will be strictly adhering to the LLCHD directives at the time of the race. It will be an in-person race (no virtual component here!), but there may be a few slight changes required by the local health department and designed to protect the safety of all runners as much as possible. We will keep you up to date on the latest info. Don’t worry! The challenge of the hills will still be in play. THAT hasn’t changed a bit.
Here are the details:
WHEN: Sunday, Sept. 18, 8 a.m. Please enter the park via Van Dorn Street.
RACE DETAILS: The 5 Mile course is challenging but beautiful, running in the hilly roads of Pioneers Park. The traditional 5 mile course will be run.
OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS: The Lincoln Running Co and The Lincoln Track Club will strictly adhere to LLCHD directives at the time of the race. We will keep you updated with any COVID restrictions that may need to be enforced.
PACKET PICKUP: Packet pickup will be at the Lincoln Running Co on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. You will have the option to select a packet pickup time when you register. . There will be race day packet pickup at Pioneers Park, beginning at 7 a.m., but this is reserved for our out-of-town competitors.
The Buffalo Run is the oldest continuous race hosted in Lincoln, the Lincoln Track Club and Lincoln Running Co. are proud of this race and the 45 years of running it. We hope to see you all on Sept. 18 at Pioneers Park.
